2. Dominance of Green Hues - Green continues to be the preferred kitchen color for the
second consecutive year:
A significant 76% of professionals selected green as the top shade for 2025.
Other favored colors include blue (63%) and brown (56%), with white ranking fourth at 50%.
3. Embracing Biophilic Design - The desire to connect indoor spaces with nature remains strong:
72% of respondents report that homeowners seek a greater connection to the outdoors in their kitchens.
To achieve this, 67% suggest incorporating large windows to enhance natural light and create an airy ambiance.
4. Preference for Wood Grain Cabinets - Natural materials are gaining favor, particularly in cabinetry:
61% of professionals indicate that wood grain cabinets are becoming more popular, moving away from painted finishes.
White oak stands out as the top choice, with 59% predicting its prominence.
5. Concealed Appliances and Features - There's a growing trend towards minimizing kitchen clutter through hidden elements:
79% of respondents note a preference for dishwashers with finishes that match cabinet faces, creating a seamless look.
Additionally, 87% mention that homeowners desire pantries concealed behind cabinet doors or panels.
6. Multifunctional Workstation Sinks - Sinks are evolving to support diverse kitchen tasks:
83% of professionals highlight the rising popularity of sinks equipped with built-in cutting boards, drying racks, and strainers, enhancing functionality.
